- Visibility of your Service: Bottom line – it’s effective marketing when you deal with people. Lots of times those of you in the area know a wonderful location from your careful crime-fighting. It may be you’ve already backed and are working in the community, would you doubt it? If you have a great photo, it will be yours with a more passionate and powerful image to stick with you for goals and opportunities.
- Superlative Rewards – people like to receive a reward for whatever they are doing to get them to do a good job. Here’s a question; what better reward could be larger than your built word of mouth referral campaign. By reaching out to your close network of customers, you need not be handling receipts and just give them a gift e.g. your name on a bumper sticker or a bar code, a pen with a good cover, a removable shoe or flip-flops with posts in the back, a spreadsheet, video, or book, nice jewelry, or a gift certificate or coupon for your favorite retailer.
- Motivational Networking – make sure the last several people you meet are good friends, your next start-up, or relevant to what you are doing. You also need to be ready to talk and give people some words of advice or direction.
Now as the next round of marketing in your marketing year, send your client out to find the happy business that’s with you and grow their business. Pick two-three clients who work with you in your business, then give them a call and give them some path that will help them grow their business. By having a referral and sticking to it, you will get a turnover of more good business they will be funneling to you because you are reaching them through partners who work with you.
